Student Code of Conduct

Purpose
This code sets simple, clear rules to ensure a respectful, professional, and safe learning environment across the Marketing & AI program (classes, workshops, projects, and internships).

1) Respect & Professional Attitude

· Treat everyone with dignity and respect—regardless of origin, belief, gender, age, disability, or status.

· Zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.

· Use courteous language in class and in online groups (Teams/WhatsApp/Email) and during internships.

2) Attendance & Punctuality

· Attend live sessions and arrive on time.

· Provide advance notice in case of absence (illness or major constraints).

· Meet all deadlines (homework, projects, deliverables).

· Online: log in under your real name, keep your camera on when requested, and mute your microphone when not speaking.

3) Online Learning Environment

· Do not record, share, or publish classes/resources without written permission.

· Use appropriate background, attire, and setting.

· Stay fully engaged (no multitasking; no inappropriate content in chat).

· Protect your credentials and do not share your access.

4) Assignments, Assessments & Use of AI

· Submit original work: plagiarism, cheating, or collusion are prohibited.

· Cite all sources used (text, images, code, data, prompts).

· AI assistance is allowed with transparency: disclose AI‑generated/assisted parts and perform human review/editing.

· Prohibited: fake reviews/followers, spam, deceptive content, illegal scraping, or circumventing platform rules.

5) Internships & Partner Relations

· Be punctual, dress professionally, and follow company instructions and tool policies.

· Confidentiality: all information about the company, its clients, and its data is strictly protected.

· Do not contact or reuse client data outside of authorized tasks.

· Immediately report any incident, conflict of interest, or difficulty to your internship supervisor.

6) Resources & Intellectual Property

· Respect licenses and copyrights for course materials and media.

· Do not share internal or paid materials without authorization.

· Use only lawful software/tools in line with terms of service.

7) Safety, Well‑being & Reporting

· Maintain a healthy and safe learning environment (physical and digital).

· Report any inappropriate behavior or concern to the academic team (official channel).

· Follow emergency instructions provided by the team.

8) Progressive Discipline (indicative)

1. Verbal reminder.

2. Written warning + improvement plan.

3. Temporary suspension from class/internship.

4. Removal from the class or program (no refund) and potential internship withdrawal. Appeal: written appeal possible within 5 business days of the decision

7. Confidentiality & data: handle personal and business data with care, minimization, consent, and security.

8. Responsible use of AI: transparency, human validation, respect for copyright, bias mitigation, no abusive automation.

9. Responsible marketing: no false promises, no dark patterns, no fake testimonials or paid reviews, no illegitimate targeting.

10. Conflicts of interest: disclose any situation that may impair judgment; seek impartiality.

11. Intellectual property: comply with licenses and trademarks; use open‑licensed or duly acquired assets.

12. Compliance: follow applicable laws and platform policies (ads, cookies, emails, protection of minors).

13. Digital sobriety & impact: aim for effective, non‑harmful, and socially useful digital practices.

14. Traceability: be able to explain methods, data, and marketing decisions.

Concrete Commitments

· Disclose AI usage in deliverables and keep a record of key prompts/tools.

· Never buy or artificially boost audiences (followers, clicks, reviews).

· Obtain necessary permissions (data, images, logos, testimonials).

· Protect accounts, passwords, and work environments.

· Refuse any task that violates laws, ethics, or program values.

· Report suspected or confirmed misconduct via official channels.

Governance & Enforcement

· The charter is overseen by the program leadership and the academic coordinator.

· Serious breaches may result in disciplinary measures (see Code of Conduct).

· A confidential reporting channel is available: use the address below until a dedicated address is created.
